"Domain Principal's decision highlights that the nursing home industry is able to afford essential and life-saving fire sprinkler systems. Those operators still opposing fire sprinkler systems in nursing homes should change their tune or get out of the industry.
"CPSA calls on all nursing home operators in Australia to retrofit unsprinklered homes regardless of what local fire regulations require.
"CPSA calls on the NSW Government to make fire sprinkler systems mandatory in existing nursing homes and similar buildings without any further delay."
