Telstra’s ‘trust us, this bill is correct’ policy leaves pensioners in the dark

“The cynics out there might assume that Telstra is trying to reduce its billing complaints record with its new “summary” bills policy,” said CPSA Policy Coordinator Charmaine Crowe.

Pensioners to speak out at Tillegra Dam Forum

“Pensioners and other low-income households in the Hunter are furious that they’re paying for the construction of the Tillegra Dam that hasn’t even been approved”, said CPSA Policy/Research Officer. Community groups, including CPSA, will be speaking at a Community Forum at Newcastle City Hall on Wednesday, 28 July from 6pm. The groups will be asking political representatives whether they will stop Tillegra Dam.

Hunter pensioners dammed by the NSW Government

“Pensioners and other low-income households in the Hunter are furious that they’re paying for the construction of the Tillegra Dam that hasn’t even been approved”, said CPSA Policy Coordinator Charmaine Crowe.

“Pensioners welcome health and aged care reforms but are disappointed that dental has once again missed the cut,” said Charmaine Crowe, CPSA Policy Coordinator.

NSW Pensioners win free photo ID card

“Pensioners in NSW have had a win today with the Assistant Transport Minister David Borger’s announcement that pensioners and war widows will now be able obtain a photo ID card free of charge,” said CPSA Policy Coordinator Charmaine Crowe.
